What is Listen Everywhere? 

 

Listen Everywhere is an assisted listening system that brings the voice of the instructor and program audio closer to your ears. The audio is available through an IR device or wirelessly through the Listen Everywhere app. 

 

What audio will I be able to hear? 

 

You will be able to hear the voice of the instructor or whomever is wearing the microphone. The program audio from playing video or audio files on a computer will also be heard. 

 

What equipment do I need? 

 

An Android or Apple smartphone or tablet along with a headset is required to use the Listen Everywhere app. An IR device and headset are available for checkout at the Welcome Desk for hearing impaired individuals. 

 

Who can use Listen Everywhere? 

 

Any ACC student or faculty member will be able to use the Listen Everywhere app on their personal mobile devices. IR devices and headsets checkouts are reserved for hearing impaired individuals. 

 

Where is Listen Everywhere available? 

 

Listen Everywhere is available in all the classrooms and the Schomp conference room at the Sturm Collaboration Campus. 

 

How do I connect to Listen Everywhere? 

 

Listen Everywhere can be connected through an IR device or the smartphone app. Instructions are provided on a separate guide 

 

Do I need a smartphone to connect? 

 

You will need a smartphone or tablet to able to use the app. IR devices and headsets are available for checkout at the Welcome Desk for hearing impaired individuals. 

 

What if I do not have a personal headset?
